It’s time once again for our Annual Meeting. This year we are meeting at the Hyde Park Community Building on 201 S Greenwood in Wichita, KS. The Spring Symposium is just around the corner and we would love to see you there! This year’s focus is on leadership and we have some great presentations lined up. This year’s presenters are Brad Allen from Lawrence Public Library, Amy Nichols from the Kansas Leadership Center, and we will also have a panel discussion of area librarians who have attended MPLA’s Leadership Institute.
This is a free event and will be from 12:30 to 4:00 at the USD 259 School Service Center. We do ask that you register by contacting Eric Gustafson (eric@derbylibrary.com)

Looking for something to do on a cold winter evening? Why not join us for the annual WALA library tour! This year we are headed to Andover. We’ll meet up for dinner at 5:30 at the Poplar Restaurant, 127 U.S. 54, Andover, KS 67002 and then head over to Andover Public Library for a 7:00 pm tour.
